This was my first tattoo done on March 21st at Lark Tattoo in Westbury, NY. After two years of wanting it, I couldn’t be happier with how it came out. It means the absolute world to me; It represents my slow overcoming of a battle I’ve been fighting for years. I love trees more than anything and being able to see this everyday on my ribs is amazing. :)

This is my first tattoo a few hours after it was done and I am absolutely in love with it! My inspiration came from the Modest Mouse song “Float On”. I struggled with depression my freshman and some of my sophomore year in high school. Once I heard this song, I knew everything was going to be okay and we’d all float on just like the song says. I picked a balloon because balloons float and drift through the sky as if they have not a care in the world:)
I got it done at The Ink Spot in Phoenix, AZ by Miguel.

I just got this tattoo about a month ago, and it is by far my largest and most loved tattoo yet. I am obsessed with chest pieces and really admire other girls who have them, so it was only fitting. This was done by Jesse Buman at Drawing Room Tattoo Parlour and Gallery in Lawrenceville, Pittsburgh, Pa. She’s an amazing lady and one of the most talented and creative people in this city!

This is my first tattoo, which a lot of people were surprised at, because of it’s size. Its Calvin and Hobbes sitting in a tree, with no worries in the world. I read this comic a lot as a child, and the quote that goes with it is “Day by day, nothing seems to change, but pretty soon, everything is different. You just go about your business and one day you realize you’re not the person you used to be. People change whether they decide to or not!”
It took about 6 hours total to do, and hurt like crazy. A big thank you to Danielle and Ryan from Sacred Grounds Tattoo in Sarasota for working on it and making it turn out so awesome.
